But you can disable extensions manually per file.

I have a low amount of applications, and to do that I have to "Get Info" 79 times and authorize myself 79 times to check the "Hide extension" checkbox.

It wasn't stupid like this before.

Way back in the 80s, Atari failed to meet goals (they didn't lose money, they just didn't make enough) and that was a sign for investors to bail and basically drove Atari out of business.

How does losing $12 BILLION DOLLARS in a quarter not do the same thing?
