🦃 I am still traumatized. My lovely aunt swore me to secrecy, and calmly served the turkey without any mention of the plastic fiasco but to this day I wonder what happened to that bag. I do chuckle, but yikes!

🦃 Reynolds Oven Cooking Bags were all the rage, and my Aunt followed the directions carefully and all went swimmingly with no need to baste until (standing beside her as she removed it from the oven) I saw that THE BAG was GONE.

🦃 My aunt was a 4th grade teacher, mother of 4 teen boys over 6' tall, and always TG hostess for 20+ of my mother's family. A capable woman, she divvied up all jobs for the long weekend onto index cards to pick blindly as we arrived. I pulled T Day Kitchen Duty as a pre-teen.
