Last Visit - Castle Tioram, Dorlin, #Moidart

Before leaving Resipole for our new home in Speyside today, I took a last visit to Castle Tioram. A special place for so many, and famously Winston Churchill, who allegedly proclaimed it as the 2nd most beautiful place on earth. It was easy to see why.

Catching a quiet moment on the loch shore here at Resipole this evening, as a calm and beautiful winter day comes to an end. One of life’s absolute pleasures, especially after the stormy weather of the past couple of days.

Violet & Gold - Loch Sunart from Rockpool House, Resipole

A sight I will miss when leaving Rockpool House in 2 weeks time. Three minutes of gold from the setting sun and violet from storm clouds mixing over Loch Sunart. It’s been a privilege to have this view from my home for the past decade.
