Labour haven't lied about anything, & already delivered (or are on target to deliver) 55 of their 86 Election pledges - so you can hardly suggest they lied to the electorate about what they'd do in power.

This chart from OBR is very telling. Right wing press are very quiet on why UK is now paying vast £££ on debt interest.
It's very simple - put in measures to bring down debt interest and debt risk premiums then overall cost goes down. This means that more headroom to pay for other things.
