It's not rewriting to judge Thomas Jefferson as a slave owning rapist, because he objectively was. Was slavery more acceptable in our society back then? Yes. Is it still morally wrong regardless of how socially acceptable it was? Yes. Did a bunch of abolitionists point this out at the time? Yes.

I was disappointed because I wanted to see Hangman have a longer reign, but I respected the decision. Then when Swerve showed up, solidifying Samoa Joe as an underrated yet crucial aspect of continuing the Swerve/Hangman storyline, all of my disappointment was completely subsided.

I agree with that. Ezra Kleins way of doing that is objectively bad and helpful to corporations and the rich and not to actual people. The problem is rich people, and looking to them for help will never turn out good. That's what his vibe is. That's why his vibe is off.

Donations don't make someone conservative or liberal. It's your actions and beliefs. Bill Maher's actions and beliefs are absolutely conservative. The Democratic party is a center right party, which is where a lot of conservatives beliefs lie. So donating to a center right party is conservative.

What do you mean by template? Because I would say the template of actually asking the voters what they are looking for and then providing policies and messaging based off of what the voters want is the perfect template that the democrats never do.
