Midnight Diner might be worth a look. Each episode starts with pork miso soup but there's always another "recipe" too. Endearingly whimsical.

Such a great show and very authentic NZ. The recurring references to the old car, country music and bad coffee are hilarious. Fun fact: we often see the guy who plays the Cleric up on Karangahape Rd.
