sola scriptura is one of the reasons i abandoned protestantism. at a certain point in studying the bible, it makes less sense, esp since a plain reading of the NT speaks against it in several places.

Nope! Success with the floss trick! It hurts like hell but I pushed through.
I used bookbinding floss/thread. Also yes it's my right hand but that's traditional in the Orthodox church.

My little buddy is mad I dismantled his box fort but found someplace to rest. This is about 80% of my books. I never regret buying books.
I decided I'm going to build bookshelves instead of buying any. Projects will be good for me.

i was finally getting around to changing my strings and figured i'd clean off the fretboard. barely touched the nut with my finger and it popped clean off. currently glued and clamped. guess the strings go on tomorrow...

I got my copy of the Anthologion thanks to a gc from my MIL. It has already taught me a great deal about the cycle of services and, I hope, will help me toward getting some sort of consistent prayer life.

There were pizza boxes, prosciutto, fake hundreds, giant meatballs, and a pizza costume thrown around during the Italian Blood set. I love a schtick and the set was a blast.
