Speaking of Japan, the only reason we didn’t get a lot of the cool ass “JDM” cars is because of chicken. Dead ass, because of a chicken tax. Seriously, look it up! Chicken is also the reason we can’t get the $12,000 Toyota truck. Same fucking tax. I fucking hate it here.

This fuckin thing! This is not a Gibson! It’s an Edwards! About as close to a (not including epiphone) Les Paul standard as you can get minus the snobbery and the inconsistency in quality control! A subsidiary of esp/ltd and one of Japan’s best kept secrets! They hover around $800.

Did you know that a lot of the “traditional” or “vintage” guitar shapes are deemed to be generic in Japan? Why? Simple, some companies waited to long to make a legal claim! So while Gibson lost that fight hard in Japan they were able to monopolize here in the states. Why should you care?
