I found Urban Legend while looking for "90s movies like The Faculty", and Cry Wolf was also recommended on the same list, so you're not alone in connecting those! I haven't seen it yet but I'm considering Cry Wolf for a future watch, this year or next.

I'm most sad of all that they got Robert Englund to be in this movie and then didn't utilize his talents. He gets exactly one good scene.
