So cool, you can see the Roman road that ran past where our house is today in Sadberge, Durham.

I watch France 24 now just because the word immigrant doesn't appear so often. Used to watch NGK until Virgin took it off their channel list. Lots of gentle views of the beautiful countryside.

It's a stretch to call the stuff Starbucks peddles 'coffee' imo. More like coffee flavoured milk (amongst other flavours).

The name translates roughly into 'flat-topped hill', which it is.

It's a local legend that a tunnel connects the church with the local pub, The Three Tuns which once served as a gaol and that crims were hanged on the village green. The pub cellar still has cells in the basement, so who knows.

I feel the same way about the propaganda relating to capitalism - 'it may be terrible and cause huge amounts of suffering across the world, but the alternatives are much worse'. I remind myself of this lie everyday. It's time we busted this particular myth once and for all.

The thing that gets me about this coverage is the phrase 'the King's Private funds'. Given that these monies have been generated through property and wealth taken from the British people and empire means, imho that it's effectively OUR money, not theirs. It's time we took this back.

It seems now that any benefit to the #netzero and #jobcreation agenda associated with #bluehydrogen production may be lost in favour of yet another power/water hungry carbon-spewing nightmare with next to no workers and little benefit to the local economy.

Once again, the Tees Valley is fucked-over

Certain local businessment saw the potential additional cash to be made from an #AI datacentre in addition to the hundreds of millions they're already making from their low risk, high profit arrangement with #TVCA.

It's difficult to describe in a post the scale and importance of the huge number of historical sites across Malta.

The government of Malta has pursued a strategy of attracting investment from overseas which, it has been said is riding rough-shof over it's citizens and historical assets.
