This really needs to be amplified. It absolutely hamstrings field stations, in addition to fire and LE. Need to replace a busted hydraulic hose? Too bad, wait however long it’s going to take for that one person to deal with your small, local shop that does that kind of work.

It’s heartbreaking on many levels and the cruelty makes my head spin. They’re mostly young folks, just getting started, many moved long distances and left friends and family behind for a dream job. For the rest of us, the leave a gaping hole in the workforce. They were the future of the agency.

You can transfer all photos & videos to Google photos, Dropbox, couple other options. Got mine done recently and deleting all Meta accounts today.
