And do not call the tortoise unworthy because she is not something else. - Walt Whitman
I read a lot. Then I blog about it so I don't forget.

YW - and now you need to read Jake Weber's 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘡𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘢 because not only are you two guys like different cultivars of the same plant, your books are both fragmented, self-referential, funny, and offbeat with just a hint of sweetness.

My novel based on my career at the National Security Agency is now available--guaranteed to be one of the two best NSA novels by a former employee ever!

I'm reading @robertlong4man.bsky.social 's chapbook 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘴𝘺, which is indescribably charming. Starts with how he saved a pug from being hit by a dump truck. Goes from there. Sweet, hilarious, strange... Highly recommend.

If you are too busy to chat, I understand, the like and retweet are yours nonetheless. I'm sorry they don't count for much.

Back in another millennium, someone important to me moved away, and I spent the afternoon taking pictures of abandoned buildings, closed parks, an empty parking lot with nothing but a rusty shopping cart. No one got it.

But I would very much like to talk with your about the Loneliness of the Bluesky Platform - what makes it lonely, what would help - and about your drawing. I don't always 'get' your drawings, but I get this one loud and clear.

The coin of this realm seems to be followers and likes and retweets. I don't offer much of those, though I'll give what I have.

Oh, I read Smilla years ago - I should read it again. As I recall, it would be particularly... appropriate... right now.

Hello, welcome. I'm not the follower you're looking for but you seem slightly lost and lonely so I thought I'd just keep you company until your tribe shows up. Then I'll go back to lurking.

I might only read 1 or 2 articles from my (overpopulated) newsfeed - but yours, I always read. It's different, it's always interesting, it's fun. I hope you keep going!
