There is truly no better version of British whataboutism than when Brits point at things going on in America on social media while a Conservative minister is gaining traction about rounding up folks with rights for deportation, and Labour government shrugs.

The joke here is that anyone who has tried to buy a house in the U.K. knows that nothing is done until they literally hand you the keys. It’s a completely ridiculous (and ridiculously long compared to other countries) process, but 🤞 I’ll be done soon and can start my Jessica Fletcher lifestyle.
