That's a pretty good looking website and a well rounded portfolio!

Me too! I noticed it only recently when working on a node-based tool. I ended up rolling my own node graph framework because I wanted a top-down pin position layout. The only annoying thing is fighting the class names that GraphEdit has already reserved.

For potential returning players who didn't have the opportunity to save their progress with this new tool, is there a way to restore progress?

When new story content dropped, I was so excited to get back in but was also intimidated because my base, my vehicles and every item I had grinded for a month would have been lost and I didn't want to get on the grind again.

OMG! This is so helpful! I stopped playing a while back after the initial launch because I was done with the story content at the time and didn't want to participate in the deep desert content.

The format used to have multi-line comments that I had removed because it didn't make a lot of intuitive sense from a readability perspective.

I'm quite happy with the final design :)

There were a lot kinks with the original design that had to be ironed out, like, handling new lines in quoted tokens, that were discovered as I worked on the library and created more test cases to parse and serialize the data

Almost a year back, I started revisiting how I naturally format key-value pairs and tried to find rules that explain them.

Once I was happy enough, I started working on the c++ library. And that one took forever to fine tune and find the right balance for what I want from the API.

For some additional context on why it took so long, one of the earlier candidates for this file format was minifiable, but not that readable. So, I renamed that version to crmpl and had it archived - github.com/hibzzgames/crmpl
