It’s funny to me sometimes how big companies hate the idea of promoting a work environment that is just fun and chill to work at, which would naturally result in a chiller atmosphere, but DO like forcing employees to create an illusion of it, resulting in a weird and creepy atmosphere.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.
They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

Over the weekend I did finally make it to Alan Wake 2's musical segment and HOT DAMN was I not disappointed.
It was knowledge of this segment's existence that prompted me to play Alan Wake & Alan Wake 2 in the first place! It was so worth it for this.

My wife and I replay the Bioshock trilogy like once a year without fail. Sometimes we even make themed cocktails for the occasion. It’s our mutual favorite!

I propose November 1st as resurgence day. Halloween ends, and we all pick up the phones again. MasterCard and Visa, bare minimum, once per day. Every day. All of us. They are only hiring the usual number of holiday workers, this would frighten credit card companies. “It’s not going away”
A source familiar w/ internal workings at MasterCard notes the company does not plan to recruit additional call center workers for the Christmas season, as MasterCard does not expect higher call volume than usual. A resurgence of calls re censorship during the busy season would be huge strategically
