Accepting that the printer is not being, will not be, and SHOULD NOT BE efficient in a meadow is a conflicting thought.

I want my printer to just work, damn it!

But it doesn't. It won't. It's not the printer's fault.

It's my opportunity to find a different, kinder way to consider my creativity.

Changing the (mental) printer from a metal beast that only creates final works (and is instead out of power and full of paper jams) to a soft journal that can have chicken scratch and works with, not against, the meadow?

That might make a big impact on how much I enjoy the meadow, the process.

I've been trying to make the meadow into an office. That's not the best idea. Creativity doesn't have to be stuffed into a formal box and made to perform despite its nature.

Do I want my meadow to be an office, really, or does the printer want to finally be compatible with authenticity and beauty?

It's not the printer's fault that it can't print its perfect pages in the meadow. It's not meant to be there-or it needs to change form and adapt to a different process.

Maybe the office printer can make way for a gentler, yet still helpful device that fits the meadow. A printing press? A notebook?

Office job tasks, the printer does great at! It has structure and deadlines and outlets and wifi and everything a printer needs.

But in the meadow? Where are its clear objectives? Why is it so messy, changing, and full of layers to unpack? How can authenticity be optimised while lying in the grass?

I also decided to sing a Brandi Carlile song to the entire gathering (acapella??) so, you know, good and bad decisions were made that fateful day.
