Villa are so brilliantly frustrating at times. To come off the back of spurs flying high and produce a display like that. Still placed well to progress and perhaps a lesson to take chances when on top or be punished #AVFC

I almost feel more comfortable with the ball at Bizot’s feet than Emi’s. He opts to go long that little bit more and takes less risks but is still comfortable playing out then needed #AVFC

You would expect to be under pressure at Feyenoord away in Europe. They beat Bayern 3-0 here last season and crowd is Partisan. Despite this Villa have shown some threat and may be aggrieved not to be playing against 10 men #AVFC

Have Villa become too predictable in our style of play? Do opponents now have a blueprint to follow in nullifying our strengths and allowing possession in non threatening areas? PL evolves quickly and requires constant tactical change and I fear we haven’t changed enough over the off season #AVFC

Lindelof, Sancho and Elliot all have European pedigree and have all played in and won big matches to win silverware. I hope they bring some confidence and swagger to our squad that we missed last season when the chips were down #AVFC
