Because they would have to admit there was something wrong with themselves. Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a drug.

I love it. There are a few frustrating parts but nothin that would stop me from replaying it.

I think there’s still a lot of talent and I can tell that the artists still care but I think there’s a lot of rot. One of things Reggie said about Nintendo is that it was like pulling teeth trying convince them to bundle Wii sports for free with the Wii and I think that’s the root cause.

Arceus had a lot of potential and I like some things in ZA but it all feels like an expensive tour this time around in a way I haven’t experienced before. The soul feels different and not because they made Trubbish or whatever.

I’m not one for a “Pokemon has been bad since X happened” argument. Things change and that’s fine. But there is a disneyification happening to Pokemon and it’s been happening faster since the last guard of Nintendo and Pokemon have left.

I feel bad for the human who runs Serebii because they love Pokemon in a way that only my people could but this is a terrible time to be a Pokemon enjoyer.
