I don't think kindness always is the choice that makes it easier for everyone else, though it may be interpreted as such.
I do think it's a constant balancing of consideration for both oneself and for others though. We need a kinder world but that doesn't mean at any expense for oneself

That is indeed a worrying aspect of this, because honestly that example can be interpreted as kindness when it's not actually that. It's not kind to the student taking the responsibility, and not to the others who can let go of said responsibility and thus not learn as much imo

Yeah! Lower pitch in swedish, higher pitch in english. I think for me it has to do with it feeling easier to find the right sounds if I sort of use a different pitch as a means of mode switching

And then it makes you feel even worse.
At least that's how it is to me.

The reality is that even if we know numbers don't mean all that much, it's still very easy to fall back into that trap. Esp when things are rough it feels like a tangible measurement you can use to problem solve at least SOMETHING though it doesn't help with the things that matter
