This makes a good companion to my dismissive scoffing at any humanoid robot "let's see it carry the burden of the cross"

It was basically as close to prestige TV that Netflix could have ever hoped to get. And then they decided to chain the kids up to a radiator and force more seasons out of them instead of the anthology series the duffer brothers originally wanted to create. Classic Netflix.

Yeah, if you ignore the open source community having major issues with vibe coded schlock constantly being churned onto GitHub, I guess you have a point. But it would make you pretty stupid to ignore that.

Nah, GitHub right now is full of vibe-coded nonsense full of terrible logic, bugs and dependencies that shouldn't be used. You're a rube and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

Hey @maggietokudahall.bsky.social , locking down your comments while left-punching and then blocking people with gentle criticism is real loser behavior.

Until you can prove that piracy is affecting your profits in any way, you're just being a reactionary.

I am shocked and appalled that an AI writer got basic and easily verifiable information wrong

Honestly though, the real victim here is Mattie Lubchansky. Leave her alone!

These losers love to wax philosophical about concepts they don't even have a surface level understanding of. You're not inventing anything new (especially if you're an AI advocate).

my podcast queue is the only thing keeping me grounded. I may be an entire year behind on all of my podcasts because I have literally no attention span but the Queue always knows what to serve me (as long as i remember to add to it, RIP)

honestly IMO there's a few people on here who take things way too far and I wouldn't even count Matt in that? Sure his schtick is brash and shocking but he knows when to bounce. Some people on here could really learn the adage "never follow a liberal to a second location"

Adding to this that a lot of articles are also using this as a smoking gun and it and is about Google Workspace which is an entirely different package presented differently than their regular stuff and doesn't even say what they're claiming. Journalists are not doing their due diligence.
