For this #screenshotsaturday I did some #WIP previs for a warp-in animation as ships spawn into the combat level. Next steps are to add more variance, some dirtiness, longer travel distance in the stretch portion and to refine the blue flash. Overall a pretty cool first pass! #indiegame #solodev

Put an infrared targeting beam (the white one) on a patrol destroyer to see how much it helps allied ships’ weapon range and targeting - I feel very cool illuminating a hostile ship and letting my escort ships tear it apart at long range #indiegame #indiedev #hardscifi #scifiart #spaceship

I recently skirted burnout doing optimization but thanks to that work I can now use a more computationally expensive trajectory prediction model that's way more stable! This enables smarter NPCs + more missiles during combat, which means crazier battles and more explosions! #indiedev #scifi #space
