Thanks Frederik 😉. It's an easy and very giving target. Even just a few minutes of exposure reveal so much detail. Always here for help and advice if you're in need 👍

good advices from Michael 👌👆. Astrophotography needs progress and a lot of time. Helpful advice from "experts" can shorten this path for sure. Don't waste money on cheap stuff, so it can be sold if you decide to stop or used again when upgrading. I would suggest reflectors instead of refractors 😉

Thanks Andy 🖖😊. Nothing compared to yours... ( astonishing images 👌 ). But considering it was taken in Switzerland at 47°N, I'm pretty happy with it 😅👍

Thank you 😊 🙏. Yeah, I think the name is quite suitably 😉👍.

The "green orb" is M27 or Dumbbell nebula. It shows the end of a red giant star, which exploded some 10k yrs ago.

Thanks Dan 🖖. Your work is nice as well. I struggle a bit with comet post processing but with bright ones, a few minutes is enough to get good results.

nice work Jim 👌

My wife would appreciate if I sell 1-2 of my scopes btw...😅🤪

Fully agree on what Willic says👍. These are available second hand everywhere & not much money is lost if u switch interests. The lower the f/-Number the faster/ more light gets collected. Even with cellphone holders, nice results can be achieved. Eyepieces are important, don't buy the cheapest 😉
December 31, 2023 at 1:02 PM
😅 ok... But the same with these, there are massive differences, in size and taste 😁

Depends very much on "What you like to do with it". Observations with eyepieces, together with a camera. If astrophotography, then more solar system or Deepsky? Guided manually or with an automated mount... 😉

😅, well that made my day 😉🙏
