And music is so much more abstract to talk about without a lot of music theory and technical knowledge so people can’t really elaborate on what they liked or disliked about it and I’m just sitting there feeling like I’ve just wasted 4 minutes of their day

Sameeee. Do you also get stressed showing people your music? For me it’s like, if someone shows you art they made, you look at it for a bit and comment on things you like about it. But if I show someone a song it’s like “I’m holding you captive for the next 4 minutes while you listen to this, sorry”

Yeah it’s tough. I miss being more involved in the VGM remixing community. I’m always down to talk VGM though!
