Potentially, yes, but realistically I don't see them doing so - IMO it's more likely that Apple protests against the bill and threatens to leave the UK, then the bill gets quietly dropped

yeah it was kinda disappointing in terms of features, but it did improve my battery life by quite a bit (pixel 6)

also side note: mozilla add-ons is *way* nicer to publish to than chrome web store - approvals in under an hour, more freedom over your page, nicer UI, no fees...

For the tech stack, I used wxt.dev, @svelte.dev, and tailwind!

Extension dev is definitely a bit more painful than normal webdev - I have to basically do RPC from a "main world" script (what runs in a Figma tab) to an "isolated world" content script to a background script to bypass CORS :/
