...and I was like back up, I mean that I'm pretty sure we'd solve a massive swathe of needs with just those 2 things. So many people could live their lives just fine if they could get health care and there was even a small amount of money coming in reliably to fill gaps or take care of emergencies.

I once told my friend, who is a therapist who sees mostly Medicaid clients, that I seriously wondered how many problems we could solve if we implemented free healthcare and UBI. She got excited and started adding on all the other programs she would want too...
