all i need is to be able to pay my rent, buy food, and also hire every single creative that i know or am even adjacent to and give them each one million dollars every day. is that too much to ask??????

and it doesn't help that to a lot of people in this industry i think music is seen as a sort of "seasoning" or something that can be added on top of a project last-minute. i've personally had some experiences where i felt supremely disposable

truly, like every composer i know (including myself 💅) can bang out an average-sized OST in no time, and on a small team it's basically never worth hiring multiple folks unless you *really* want the specific vibes each of those people bring. it's really cool that people are so talented, but damn
