I despise that mother fucker.

That too but he is an idiot and has said dumber things so it wouldn't surprise me if he was confused by it. Either way, he's a monster.

The fucking mental institution shit drives me crazy. I used to think the claim that he got asylum mixed up with mental patients was silly but I now think he really thinks asylum seekers are mental patients. He's an idiot.

She would like those. I won't show her...😃

We moved to MI from TX so winter is now an actual thing for us. My wife has now discovered the world of fashion snow boots and our mudroom looks like a snow boot museum. She has multiple Sorel boots, in different colors, and those bastards aren't cheap...😃

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that maybe it's seeing human beings starved to death and brutalized that's causing this rather than one lone social media app. Perhaps these young people, and older folks like me, just know what genocide is when we see it. She apparently doesn't.

I just wish someone would explain capitalization to this dumb SOB.
December 2, 2025 at 11:28 PM
I know that pain but magnified. My former TX county went 89-11 for the fuckmuppet. That's why it's now "former". Living in close proximity to that level of stupid is tiresome.

My biggest motivating factor for completing side projects is having a primary project that I should be working on. I can relate.

As horrible as he is, the grovelers are perhaps worse. Nah. They all suck.
December 2, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Agree. And I will never forgive or forget. I know some will say I should but I won't. Too many people have already suffered due to their vote and I refuse to give them a pass. Friend or family. It doesn't matter. They're dead to me. There will be no kumbaya moment.
December 2, 2025 at 8:26 PM
And that's that. I like it.
December 2, 2025 at 6:42 PM
And after those few minutes I turn it to low and I eat.
December 2, 2025 at 6:39 PM
I then turn the heat to Medium and immediately add 4 cups of shredded cheese, Velveeta preferred but...I add it slowly while stirring and then stir for a few minutes until it's good and melted. I then add the green onions and let that go for a few minutes.
December 2, 2025 at 6:38 PM
Btw, at this point I add pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder to taste. No measurements. I will literally add and taste test until it seems about right. And I continue to stir occasionally.

Once the potatoes are fork tender we'll add our half & half and an optional small bag of Real Bacon pieces. I usually use 1 qt of h&h for 10lbs but I'll guess at 4/5 with 8lbs and bake something later with the left over h&h. We'll boil for another 15 minutes or so, occasionally stirring.
December 2, 2025 at 6:12 PM
It's now at a rolling boil. I will let that go for about 20 minutes, occasionally stirring.
December 2, 2025 at 5:55 PM
I cut up one bunch of green onions. I'll add these in a bit. Btw, I hated potato soup until my wife taught me how to make it this way. Now, it's one of my favorite dishes, especially on a cold, winter day.
December 2, 2025 at 5:47 PM
It's starting to boil but not yet. The wooden spoon is there to help keep it from boiling over.
December 2, 2025 at 5:45 PM
I usually have a ham bone to add but I was an idiot this year and left it out. So, this is what we have.
December 2, 2025 at 5:40 PM
This takes a big pot. I fill it with water about an inch or so over the potatoes. I also add salt and wait for it to boil. In addition, I add diced up ham, leftover from Thanksgiving, in with the boiling potatoes to give the potatoes even more salt as they boil.

I usually use 10lbs of potatoes but 8 will do. I wash them first and then cut them into cubes, skin on.
