ppl can draw their own conclusions, but i will always be more interested in a story with concrete, definitive themes that are specifically meant to be explored a certain way. i find interpretive stories significantly less interesting most of the time

same with ppl who get like, emotionally invested in a story the point they do or don't want certain things to happen based on their own investment. i just can't really get behind that kinda mentality when experiencing a story. characters are vessels for the story, they are not Real

tbf i still do this. i just keep it to myself. just know if i ever see people come up with headcanons i find inconsistent with the media i will be a massive dork about it
