thankfully I have only one of these piece of shit to deal with, but this vent cover already failed (it's a bad plastic clip design, I don't design snaps, and even I can tell it's a molding/part design issue), so I made a spring out of a bamboo skewer to push the tabs out, and it's working perfectly

I unpacked my Panasonic kp-310 autostop pencil sharpener that I now had for more than 25 yrs and having a sharp pencil at all times has improved my day immensely. If I had the space, I could see myself making automatic pencil sharpeners my special interest (maybe the ones through the 30s-90s only?)
