I enjoyed The Black Cat (1934) very much. A very unique pre-code film about trauma, obsession, the long lasting horrors of war and those who profit from them. It has a very nice scene that uses Beethoven's 7th Symphony, which is always good

I just watched Hakaider after loving Zeiram last year. This one's also excellent! Heavier on symbolism, way scarcer in dialogue, feels like a legend or a fairy tale. There really is no limit to how cool movies can be
