It's only just begun. And two of our most important players in that system, Hall and Tino, have started how many games together?

We had a strong identity before that was sussed out because when you have one dimension it's easy to plan for.

We are learning to rotate the squad we have and win in different ways, which is what you need to longevity of your project. You cant play that intensity w/ same XI twice a week.
December 7, 2025 at 11:44 AM
You're comparing the expectations and time frame of a big money takeover to one of that era too
December 7, 2025 at 11:37 AM
You want to be a one dimensional team? Sounds fun.
December 7, 2025 at 9:02 AM
I don't think you're following.. that's what I'm accusing you of.
December 7, 2025 at 9:02 AM
We are transitioning into that, evolution. In the meantime anything less than perfection draws surreal takes and comparisons. People said he wouldn't win is a trophy, yet he did. And champions league in 2 of 3 seasons - and we are one win from top 4 again.
December 7, 2025 at 6:14 AM
You understand this is 2025, not 2005? Evolution, not revolution is the mantra, and with good reason.

We have to prioritise where we upgrade.

I don't excuse him, he isn't infallible. But you are on some sort of bizarre crusade against him and it tickles me
December 7, 2025 at 6:02 AM
Says more about you than me.

Look at the context of their signings, our position at the time, their cost, what they've done for us. You're casting the weight of your inflated expectations on them (which itself is a reflecrion of what they've achieved)
December 7, 2025 at 6:00 AM
Burn, Trippier, Pope have all 100% been successful. I know Trippier came from Atleti but come on.. he's a prem player. It'd be harsh to say Gordon's been a failure too, low less of a success
December 7, 2025 at 12:15 AM
It's called rotation. And we won.

You want him to play the same best XI in all 4 competitions?
December 7, 2025 at 12:12 AM
Prove me wrong.
December 6, 2025 at 6:17 PM
December 6, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Aye, we've only been 5th best team in the league since he arrived. Absolute fraud.
December 6, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Some people are just miserable c*nts and they'll refuse to see anything but portents of doom even after a win.

We are doing fine and a good run away from being comfortably top 4.
December 6, 2025 at 5:53 PM
We'll play worse and pick up points, and play better and get nowt. It's football - and today we won a game of it. Enjoy yourself.
December 6, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Being tactically flexible doesn't mean you have small club mentality 🤣

Would I have made the same change? Maybe not. But had we not made that change and still conceded then you'd be having a go at him for not locking it down.

He has made errors, sure, but the players take responsibility for that.
December 4, 2025 at 5:42 AM
Sounds like you want Ange in.
December 4, 2025 at 5:13 AM
If he'd not gone defensice and then we conceded he'd be catchin stick for that. I think it's more on players than him. Bruno was spot on in his post match they all need to show more passion right to the final whistle.
December 4, 2025 at 2:04 AM
Earlier on in the season I had someone gettin hysterical about us not signing a LB in the summer. Few people would have seen that as a priority in the summer. I may have been wrong to downplay lack of depth there tho

Those games without Tino and Hall rly hurt us.
December 3, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Very, very frustrating. But then I look at the table. We are 4 pts off champions league while being shit. All we need to see out some games and we'll be class.
December 3, 2025 at 10:34 PM
Thiaw didn't get antthing on it either, and he's been a shining light. Shit happens.

I won't make excuses for it but probably should have been a foil on Thiaw right before that. Nevermind.
