THIS is my type of Deathcore. Heavy doses of death metal with nice chunk of hardcore to keep things fresh. Steve is the MVP (no pun intended) of this album. His vocals are fucking nuts.

My Boys from Montreal are Back!!!

Got my pre-order for this on Monday (album drops on Friday). After 4 listens, I can safely say this albums rules. It’s closer to the Prog styles of Great is Our Sin than the Death Metal leanings of the last 2 albums. It still packs a heavy punch though.

Revocation: New Gods, New Masters

Between the Buried and Me - The Blue Nowhere
At this point, BTBAM need to start scoring movies. It’s the next logical step for them. Especially if they did animated movies. Having a full on ballad was a nice touch.
Parts of this album are fucking hilarious.
Overall, I’m having a fun time.
