Man, this brings up memories! ITA didn’t hinder my reading at all, but I was a voracious reader and was more than happy to re-learn regular English afterwards. Never found it confusing; I guess it worked like it was supposed to on me!

Yeah, years back when I was in a particular creative industry the executive of the main professional organization mainly consisted of “ladies who lunch” types with rich spouses. Their cluelessness to how many creatives lived was a bit of a turn off.

I used to listen to a podcast about creativity and design in the modern advertising industry. Yes, the artistic creativity was off the charts! But I could never shake the fact that all this genius and inspiration was in the service of making stupid ads, and I couldn’t stand listening to it any more
