Did my two daily mahjong games on stream. They went relatively alright, but the last couple rounds I was definitely not focused on the game lmao.

Also the Santa event is started and the person in the second game did not get the memo they're supposed to lose. >:(

Mmk, stream time, gonna start with Buckshot Roulette, since I played it twice; once to play solo and die due to unlucky, and once to play multiplayer where a phone lied to me a dozen times. Hopefully this goes better

Today sucked for me. Rough draws, rough luck, people completing hands quickly. All-in-all, a very "nothing" kind of day.

I did have the first ragequit in the second game. Person vanished after a couple rounds and never showed back up, so. That's neat, ig.

First game went well, in fact additional screenshot for a pretty good hand I landed; that was done by calling Kan and then immediately drawing the tile I needed to finish my hand. Fun stuff.

Second game was less good, rather unlucky, other people finished hands quickly, and robbed at the end. Sadge

What an incredibly unlucky morning. First game, one person was on a roll, opening with baiman, and then just continuing to steam the rest of the game. The second, the one good hand I had to secure first at the end, was robbed on the very last draw.
How utterly demotivating.

I do wonder what it is I'm really missing in Mahjong right now. I definitely get the theory, just not the execution. I can consistently stay neutral, but that's not exactly going to win games, now is it?

Probably need to study yaku more and learn how to build a more profitable hand. Risky, but eh.

I got ready to post this and talk about the matches, then something immediately took my attention and now I can't remember what really happened.

So, here you go regardless :)

Both games someone else played a BIG hand, so mostly defensive playing in both games. First one had some easy hand completions, which was fun.

Second game started with all three other players calling Riichi and I'm just sitting here like: "oh god"

First match had one player bullied out real early; called into the same person twice, and then my Tsumo cut the rest of their points down.

Second match, I had a very strong opening hand, and then just played it safe the rest of the game. Good runs today, though.

Very passive games for me, lmao. I didn't really ever get what I was looking for, but I never called into anyone, so I just kinda lingered around the initial point total.

I realize I might notice more shifts if I played with the full round set-up, but I just don't wanna commit that much time lmao.

Well, at least the day after I said I'd post, I had a good run. Though, the first game went to South 4, despite queuing into East Only, so, that was fun.

Getting all West tiles when it was Dora was very pogoers.
