in other news, i got an awesome deal on a VX2100 and got my fisheye lens in for it yesterday, been having a blast fucking around with this thing

ended up being a *smidge* more complicated than i thought, and i may have to jump around a couple ways to get ps1 games working. someone on reddit supposedly has found a way to get it to work with the specific loader i’m using, but if it doesn’t i believe i can make it work from a 1tb SD memcard

here at the shop they had a massive dreamcast lot come in about a year ago and i was able to snag this OEM clear top shell from japan for super cheap, of which i am completely obsessed with

i also recently picked a broken dreamcast i was able to fix and got a VGA adapter for this NEC monitor i picked up recently, it is *gorgeous*

new drive arrived! taking a helluva long time to transfer just my PS2 games but itll be complete, PS1 games have some stuff that needs to be done manually but i should be able to have this whole project wrapped up real soon. now do i also do an HDMI mod on it as well? 🤔

while i wait for my hard drive to arrive for the ps2, i decided to get 360 modding under my belt. it’s a shame the rgh 1.2 chips are starting to go extinct but i haven’t experienced any issues doing rgh 3 in my phat like others have said, but i guess time will tell

fabbed up a basic mount to get the disc tray cover back in to cover up that ugly hole. doesn’t look the best but it’s better than nothing!

one last update, i can fully confirm all 4 controller slots work perfectly. i only have 3 controllers at home so i couldn’t fully verify it last night
