Öoo was the game that inspired me to finally pick up game dev and learn Godot! It's so simple but so smart, I've told everyone I know to play it. This article was really interesting to read, I liked what learnt from Super Metroid!

there's a Sky ad featuring him that was playing at the cinema for like six months and every line delivery in it is like this. it's sort of unwatchable. highly recommend

i guess i could say the game is uneven, but the good stuff i think is genuinely pretty great and compelling. i also think this game has the best characters in a long time, i really love basically all of them and i laughed out loud multiple times. i'm excited for the next legends game again!!

like my biggest issue with the game is definitely that the city environment runs dry about 20 hours before the end and that it desperately needed variety, but choosing to make the guys look the best they ever have in 3D i think is a much wiser decision than modelling the inside of 50 clothes shops

also while obviously the budgets for these games should be way longer, i actually think this is the first 3D game that feels like it's making smart choices in regards to that. no part of the main quest felt undercooked, the Pokemon animations are all wonderful

it's exciting too cuz i think pushing the depth in that kind of way and making interesting encounters and all that actually *is* within the scope of these microscopic budgets, cuz this game manages it multiple times
