If this is also about Crockett, the obsession with a TEXAS senate race that’s in just under a year REEKS of misogynoir. I get the feeling that many were happy at the idea that “the Democrats would stop running these type of candidates.” They wanted all white men.

They have, they’re just not going to promise an impeachment when they can’t make an impeachment happen. Most people don’t even know what the filibuster is, if Democrats make a promise, do you genuinely think that people won’t get angry when Trump isn’t removed?

Like can you understand what you sound like? There are literal white supremacist Nazis in power, and you are saying “why should I bother to change that?” Do you understand how callous you sound, to people whom they are trying to ethnically cleanse from the country, to strip rights from?

They cannot call for committee hearings with subpoena power while in the minority. Do you genuinely not understand how Congress works? They literally called for investigations into the second strike, most recently.

One of my students used A.I. on an assignment because “another professor allowed it.” I need to find that professor and give a six-point presentation on how A.I. will inevitably destroy critical thinking in humans.

I know a professor who uses ChatGPT to grade, because it “fits with her ungrading” scheme. Meanwhile, she has the lowest scores in RateMyProfessor. I’d rather fail than use ChatGPT to do my job. Failing will make me better at that task; ChatGPT will make me worse at not only that, but other tasks.

Yup. Where no one is explicitly “banned,” but “common-sense” measures make it all but impossible. Non-white people aren’t banned from voting, just massive suppression, and tax households are required to vote together.

This just isn’t true. You would be seeing progressives win in red write-off districts, if this were the case. But it hasn’t happened.

Genuinely whom does this help. Imagine if FDR had said “well yeah, I oppose Hitler like Churchill does, but he wasn’t able to fight them off in France, so why become allies?” BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE. WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET, AND YOU ARE AN OPP WHO DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE STAKES.
