I can relate. Talk a walk thru the ruined area when no one is there and feel the spirit of the the trees, the land, the stone. Communicate your sorrow at their demise while realizing nature is bigger than we are and will adapt, survive and prosper.

And who pays the bill for contamination leak or meltdown? The taxpayers not the corporation responsible for building it.
There is no existing technology for disposing of radioactive waste.
They’ve been trying for decades at Hanford one failure after another.
Work to finally start under disputed $45B contract for radioactive waste cleanup in WA
About $3 billion a year is spent on environmental cleanup of radioactive and hazardous chemical waste at the sprawling Eastern Washington site.

This has been the case for decades.
So who pays the massive bill. That is correct - the taxpayers, not those responsible! This legislation was written into decades ago.

Most people don’t read the small print in their homeowners policies and auto insurance policies where all types of nuclear catastrophes and accidents are excluded from coverage. This is in part because Lloyd’s of London will not cover a nuclear power plant in a meltdown or major contamination leak.

Jeff, I ran out of space so I’m sending you an email to your work address in the hopes that you’ll have time to read it and maybe comment on this passion I have for long distance transmission of Solar. Will send soon. Thanks.

So sad, it’s a mirror for mankind. Although the IS has helped it was too slow, too little. I wish Ukraine would have gotten the missiles and jets they asked for early in the war.

Well I’ve been driving EV’s for 13 years, 6 Nissan Leaf then 7 Tesla. Charging was a problem 13 yrs ago if you had to charge away from home. Over 95% of our charging is at home. But if we are traveling the Tesla network is great, unlike some of the other networks.

Not especially interested in startups or anything more than 2-3 years out from market availability. Want to buy within 12 months. #evpickups #mid-sizeEVpickup #electictrucks #bev-pickups

Is there any thread on hear to track updates on pickup EV’s. Especially mis-size.
A few examples:

BYD - 2025 - ‘Shark’ mid-size to large,
bigger than Hilux
Toyota Hilux - 2025, available end
2025
Kia Tasman
AlphaWolf

What others am I missing?

Don’t know where you are but home charging for me is 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of gas.

But you have 6 times the steel, tires, etc. Plus still burning fossils. A dual system is more complicated. I think it’s an over simplified analogy.

Twigs were massaging my head and holding onto the branches and trunk grounded me. Later that day I gave it a really deep drink of water:) Littleleaf Linden have such dense foliage. This one that I planted is the only one I’ve seen and really beautiful.

Last week I couldnt swallow some food that was stuck in my gullet, although I could breathe fine. I was walking slowly, barefoot in the yard. I ended up under a 10 ft Littleleaf Linden and as I stood under it I swear it was embracing me energetically and helping heal.
