Just remembered the other night when I went to the fair, as we were leaving there were some religious nuts hanging by the exit trying to hand out bibles/tracts and dude goes “can I give y’all a bible?” and my entire group just shouted “NOPE” in unison 😂

Most modern deathcore is really boring and monotonous to me. But bands like Spite, Fit For An Autopsy, Heavy//Hitter, Whitechapel, Left to Suffer and Bodysnatcher scratch the itch. I also just miss Mitch-era Suicide Silence so maybe that’s the problem

As much as I hate when normies infiltrate the alt/punk/emo/etc scene, I think the only people we truly should gatekeep the culture from is nazis. Because they are inherently antithetical to it all.

It actually does seem like guitar music is doing well again in the mainstream zeitgeist. Hayley, Turnstile, Linkin Park and others getting Grammy nominations is awesome. Even if it’s literally pointless, still good to see.

Y’all. I cannot stand when you tell someone that they did something wrong at work (it was definitely wrong) and they come to you and try to double down on it but you literally have seen them do it the right way before. Like just take the L and move on?? It’s not that deep??
