Your own experiences, your own eclectic mix of likes and tastes is what makes your characters unique, your stories, etc. MSM always chases trends, and right now with video games/comics are busy playing catch up to the giant sword trend that's been strong in video games and anime since Berserk 2/3

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Fixating too much on "originality" is a trap. Even if there is other characters who use a BFS, it doesn't invalidate *your* character or your take. A rising tide sails all ships after all. Lord knows how many safari'ing blonds are out there... 1/3

Strange Aeons, Sarah Z or Lady Emily if you want obscure fandom rabbit holes, cults to consciousness is good to hear cult survivor stories, I got a ton of others since I also need long videos to draw too, but these are all off the top of my head 2/2

Jesus christ that was what, twelve, thirteen years ago?! I fail to see how people *still* can't get over her when their precious video games has so much other actually industry-threatening shit going on right now than some mid critique videos from a decade ago :/
