With a 1-star advantage, I'm fighting SiRN Akuma at about a 50-50 rate, give or take a win streak during certain stretches. It's kinda funny how wildly the proverbial pendulum swings in that regard.

Avatar battles against SiRN Akuma, on the other hand...

What makes me human, huh? Since I doubt you mean this in a literal sense, I honestly don't have a good answer to this. For all you know, I COULD be a cyborg from the year 2671 or something (I'm not, but still). 😛

The most revealing parts of our humanity often involve things we can't show in a post.

I have some feedback...:

Keep being you. I think it's working out pretty awesomely these days. 👍

I actually forgot about Kracko being in the game (granted, I don't have it, so... 😛), but it also does have more of a habit of being closer to the ground than Kabula. Same with Dyna Blade.

Would have been interesting to see how that could have worked, but I guess we'll never know. Perhaps. 😛

I suspect it would probably be a bit rough for more ground-based machines to deal with a boss that attacks exclusively from the sky, but it would have indeed been cool to see Kabula as part of the party.

Oh well. 🙂

I try not to complain much about my own situation, instead preferring to be a voice of support and reason for others when I can. I think this has helped considerably.

It's not that I'm without my own needs, but choosing to channel my outward efforts elsewhere helps to keep me grounded and at peace.

It's also not lost on me that both statements are rooted in Islamophobia, and that the normalization of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim bigotry exists across the mainstream political spectrum.

While these sentiments were hardly hidden before the events of the past couple of years, they've balloned since.

We can only do what we can with what means we have. The fact that you find yourself questioning your outlook on the current state of affairs and desire better is telling enough of who you are.

I trust you'll find a way to contribute as only you can when the time comes.

I'm also taking the liberty of sharing this piece of Kokoro by @abbeyshollow.bsky.social again because I still really like it a lot.

Probably no time soon at this point. I doubt Nintendo would want to risk losing any sales for Air Riders by making its prequel free to play for NSO subscribers.

The best time to release Air Ride was before Air Riders released to help get players acquainted with the gameplay.

Many of the deals I've seen have been selling gift cards at similar rates of discount - say, $100 credit for $80.

I'm sure there are limits to the amount you could get from any one retailer, but if you can muster $500 worth of eShop credit, it should still be more affordable than Walmart's offer.
December 1, 2025 at 9:08 PM
If you're THAT interested in getting a Switch 2 at the moment, it might be even more worthwhile to take advantage of the various gift card sales I've been seeing in recent days.

Apparently, eShop credit can be used on hardware in Nintendo's online store, which would be even more of a deal.

"Modern Warfare would never work on Wii." "Yakuza will never release on Switch because its developer prefers powerful hardware." I've heard arguments like this countless times over the years - it's nonsense.

It all comes down to "dollars and sense" at the end of the day, processing power be danged.

I think people vastly overestimate the importance of hardware capabilities when it comes to the question of a game making its way to a particular system.

If a publisher thinks it's worth the investment to make a title playable on a platform, the technical compromises to the game hardly matter.
