This is a bad analogy imo but I got into Dota 2 as I was running into tech issues and bot matches in League a couple years ago.
Considering Dota 2 has all champions unlocked from jump. The biggest hurdle is time. Time to learn the basics, heroes and tactics. Best game despite hundreds spent on LOL
