I need to make one correction. She was filmed harassing Parkland high school shooting survivor David Hogg when he was still a teenager. She didn't harass anyone involved with Columbine (to my knowledge).

It's not odd. She sees the writing on the wall. Her party is slowly turning on 🍊 and she's pivoting to make herself look like the "reasonable" one. She's also hoping everyone will forget her past horrible antics (like harassing Columbine victims or cheering on government worker firings).

My city did this a few years ago. It's an adjustment, but once you invest in a collection of reusable bags and keep them in your trunk, it's fine. Those bags come in handy as general purpose trunk organizers as well. You end up clearing out that cabinet in your kitchen full of old plastic bags.

There's a term for what we're experiencing. Enshittification. It originally referred to the gradual decline in quality of online platforms (see Twitter) but it can pretty much be applied to anything once considered convenient or useful then converted into a vehicle for grifting.

Please do. I recently had to take a pause after a long stretch of work and school. My work-life balance was off. I was burnt out and realized my attitude around family and coworkers was crappy. Had to skip a term and touch some grass over the summer. Your physical/mental health is important!

I encountered this at work yesterday, but it was a dude. Informally counselled him about his behavior toward another coworker (another YT dude who felt compelled to confide in me their interpersonal issues). When confronted he said he wanted to cry because he "didn't understand what was going on." 🙄

Just don't. Not worth it. Gotta protect your peace, focus on helping those around you and folks who want to help themselves (if you choose). I recently left a good barber because he was still on that red pill BS. Couldn't stand to sit in his chair any longer. Much happier with my new barber.
