“Embarrassing?” I think not. Ideas like pride, shame, decency, and self-respect have no place in this administration. Utility, obedience, and corruption are the only meaningful currencies. If embarrassment held any sway, the whole of it would have disappeared permanently before dawn on January 7.

And heck, all we need to do to fix it, is get the politicians receiving those immoral billions to find it within themselves to willingly and permanently step away from their all-you-can-eat free money buffet.

I don’t know what’s funnier: that they’re actually trying to fly this pathetic attempt at an excuse, or that they may have thrown Don Jr. under the bus.
November 14, 2025 at 11:27 PM
“Maybe?”

This is like suggesting that maybe water runs downhill, maybe the sun rises in the east, or maybe RFK Jr. is unqualified.

Exactly what I was thinking, the instant I saw the post. But you put it more diplomatically than I would have.

Big thanks for giving these brave young women a platform from which to share their powerful and important stories, safely. And big thanks to them for sharing those stories.

I expect D candidates in 28 to lasso media attention by swearing they’ll have it torn down.

BUT, I prefer a zestier angle. Leave it up, keep the name, and paint the whole thing rainbow. Make it The Donald J Trump Pride Pavilion. And have an opening ceremony with drag queen story hour.

A short clip, removed from social context, can make it look better than it was.

Reagan intentionally destroyed public education, specifically to guarantee a less educated population who was easier to propagandize.

Reagan’s ghost ushered Trump into the White House twice.

It amounts to the same thing. This administration will already be remembered as the Jeffrey Epstein Commemorative Presidency. So whether he calls it the Epstein Ballroom or the Trump Ballroom, history will see it exactly the same way.
October 26, 2025 at 11:36 AM
Just a reminder to all who celebrate his legacy: Reagan intentionally destroyed public education specifically so the public would be more easily and reliably controlled through propaganda.

We voted in the worst political candidate in first world history. Trickle down failed, but this plan worked.

Hearing this one knock “beta males,” is like hearing Trump lionize alpha masculinity. For the love of God, GOP, show a little support for the home team.
September 22, 2025 at 12:56 AM
It is sick, sad irony that he actually uses the word "terrorism" here.

World leaders openly committing acts like this while in possession of weapons of mass destruction used to turn the entire GOP into a quivering mass of neoconservatism. Now, it's just a good excuse to buy more meme coins.
September 20, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Because his terror cult controls every branch of government. There's no one short of UN or NATO with the power to remove him from power. The word "illegal" is utterly meaningless, now, for him.

After the collapse, I suspect that even mediocre puppetry will be a rare and precious commodity. The rest of us are already squirreling away puppet recipes for after all the Krogers and Taco Bells close.
September 17, 2025 at 7:00 PM
“What good is a short apology?”

Exactly the “good” they were looking for. Good enough to get the disparaging headlines off the front page, so they can get on with the important work of generating more, instead of wasting time pretending to defend the old ones.
September 15, 2025 at 1:40 PM
I see from the scoreboard that they and I are both “remembering.”

I secretly suspect that the natures of our respective memories differ considerably.

I feel almost compelled to send along a thoughts-&-prayers 100k gift, since she went to all the trouble to make it single-click convenient.

You don’t choose a soulmate and life partner like him by accident.
September 14, 2025 at 4:41 PM
There are people in life who should just realize:

"I really shouldn't start slinging insults. The other guy ALWAYS seems to have a MUCH bigger target."
September 14, 2025 at 10:47 AM
Be sure he hears there are lots of folks around with similar feelings for Nazi propagandists.

I was happier ten minutes ago, when I had never seen the name “Matt Forney” in my life.

Now, I have, and what’s quoted here is the sum total of what I know about him. So I feel like we’re not dealing with a Rhodes Scholar, here.

Terrific. Just the keen wisdom this socio-political moment needs.

Forget about making Canada our 51st state. We might want to consider becoming Brazil's 27th.
September 11, 2025 at 7:27 PM
This would be a little easier for Trump to shy away from had he not spent his entire adult life literally showcasing masturbatory Hitler fantasies. When your own wife declared she was second fiddle in the marriage bed, behind "Mein Kampf," sneaking in Reichstag moments might not fool the audience.
September 11, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Yeah, if we had actual "political leaders."

Instead, we've got a left where the progressives are told to shut up and sit in the back of the bus, while corporatist party leaders play slap and tickle with donors.

And a right utterly beholden to billionaires and their fascist puppet pseudo-leader.
September 11, 2025 at 7:06 PM
That's the point, and everybody on both sides "realizes" that. The point is, Hitler was successful with using that as a pretext.

When the left sees it as a Reichstag fire moment, it's a condemnation and a warning.

When the right does, it's a celebration and a call to arms.
