2 Post guys pause right by my desk and one says to the other, "I'm worried about my elf." Given what we work on and how so many of the team are gamers, LARPers, etc I almost just let it go. But then... I have to ask. It wasn't an elf, after all, but something about software. But it COULD have been.

First day back to work after the Christmas break: I'm opening a new cheese as all the other open cheeses are not *breakfast* cheeses.

Production & Casting teams paused for a moment in today's stand-up to share what they were thankful for. It was a healthy mix of work-related, personal, and humorous thoughts. Nice way to start the day.

Ever wonder how we come up with our project codenames? Today, it was due to what I'll call a "creative hearing" issue, aka me totally mishearing on the Teams call. Now a lovely sounding codename for the new game. Can't wait to refer to it in Casting meetings and see it on many email subject lines. 😄

Seeing a lot of new faces in reception today for auditions, thanks to some deliciously diverse characters in a new game. They look a little nervous and I don't want to throw them before they go into studio but, Oh! The possibilities that may be coming your way! Welcome to videogames.
