Got digimon survive on a whim at deep deep deep discount, and getting the distinct feeling from the cheevos that nobody was down with a VN/TRPG hybrid, but it seems neat.

Oh no, accidentally stayed up too late playing labyrinth of galleria. It's utterly impossible to even explain to non-drpg/blobber sickos how it got me by the balls. I can only explain it with "Oh, this gives the good brain chemicals."

I didn't think I'd like Chuumon so much but he's such a fucked up little guy. Everything about him is the worst and it's great. I wish he got a real evolution route, but I don't even know where you'd go from here, really.

Everywhere you turn its full of fun little goobers with designs ranging from silly, to edgy, to the most 13-year old core thing you've ever seen, and it's just so earnest I can't help but love it.

I finally made it to the digital world in time stranger, and it really does feel like an amazing breath of fresh air after the beige and gray concrete city, subway, and sewers you spend the early game in.

Romancing SaGa 3 is basically, what if jrpg elder scrolls in 1995 on the super nintendo. Flips all kinds of jrpg conventions on their head and the thought put into its systems makes my head spin. It's bizarre, it's unique, it's great!

Also, Holy shit, Tomomi Kobayashi does GORGEOUS work. The watercolor style makes me think of Amano, but she has style that's slightly less ethereal but so attractive. I wish the game had portraits so I could see them instead of having to find art book resources online, but they're all a treat.

I'm so ridiculously into "what if you had square, hot off the heels of making FF6, make The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion?" This game is fucked up and rad in a million different ways. An open-ended JRPG with 8 protags in 1995 is a fever dream of never before seen ideas.

Granblue Versus Rising is cheap on everything right now, and I cant stress how much this game kicks ass. It's basically "anime street fighter" with some of the best of both worlds. It's also got a free version with gran +3 rotating folks. It's good, you should play it, I will teach you. (I am bad)
