CHAOS IN THE OLD WORLD
I think this was my intro to "big" boardgames. Definitely the first one I owned. 4 (or 5) players attempt to destroy the warhammer world and rule over the ashes. Its fun to be the hammy villain.

Magic the Gathering
Yeah, I'm actually not even too sure what to write. I really like this silly card game and getting to hang out with strangers with a shared interest. There's something special about having that common language with people you'll know for an hour and never meet again.

I FUCKIN LOVE ASYMETRICAL GAMEPLAY. Four players, all with completely different ways of playing the same game. I genuinely love sitting down and not knowing how someone else's gameplan will interact with the way my faction plays. Really charming art style too

Doing Board Games in August. Really captures that summer feeling.
WINGSPAN. In wingspan you score points based on how birds you get on your board, building an engine to get eggs, cards, and food. It's competitive without being difficult and antagonistic. Lovely art, and it's on Steam too!

UMAMUSUME. I jumped on the bandwagon and I don't know how I got so emotionally invested in these dang anime horses. The writing is fantastic.
Anyway, this is Vodka. She makes motorcycle noises when she runs and drinks tea from a hipflask. 5/7 perfect character, no notes, would adopt.

SPLITGATE 2
I'm really bad at pvp shooters- I'm old and slow. But damn Splitgate 1 was fun, and SG2 is a slick return. Think arena shooter, with hero abilities and portals. It's fast, hectic and everything I shouldn't like. But I fuckin LOVE it.

Wildflowers are fucking cool. Bees are fucking cool. Cutting the grass is a pain.
Don't mow your lawn. Let the flowers and grasses grow. It helps pollinators, attracts other wildlife and looks much nicer than a cut lawn.
