No AI. Alternative photography. IR and alchemy.

Prone to the bee in my bonnet.
Aye. Right.. we smell your hate.

PS. Braveheart was not a documentary..

Your occasional reminder that ' The National ' is not a serious impartial reporter of news in Scotland.
It is a propaganda organ with one purpose. To promote Scottish Nationalism.

A constant drip feed of resentment and half truths.
This piece is nonsense but keeps them marching up the hill.

My first tenement flat with a partner was a single end on Maryhill Road at the Butney.
It was tiny with one room and a WC on the half landing. No bath, no shower. We washed in the sink by the cooker.
We called it a ' hoose ' .

Aye! Right! Dream on.

Maybe by that time we will be a vassal state of China ? Or Russia? Or ruled from Brussels ? Or Washington?

Fantasy politics is fun.

House the homeless, feed the hungry, help the poor and the sick. Starve the snake oil salesmen.

Rogue state.

What's the point in having a legal system based on the findings of courts and juries based on evidence if one man can give immunity to his friends and overule them all ?

I used to walk past it every day going to Dowanhill Primary School. You could see the racks of equipment through the windows.
I now know it was Strowger switchgear.

Beat you. 3.20 am. A bit troubled. A close friend has died suddenly.

Couple of years ago I travelled from Scotland to Penzance return for free. Both journeys were delayed so I was refunded.

Doing it again in two weeks..

Well. It's my take on it.... But you won't find a bigger cynic ...

Window dressing for the forthcoming election to make you forget the stuff piled up under their carpet..

Handouts for votes..

Peelian Principles.

'To maintain at all times a relationship with the public that gives reality to the historic tradition that the police are the public and that the public are the police, the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full-time attention to duties .. '

Imagine.

Hell of an image. It makes you think.

Forgive a non American to comment. But it seems you already pay taxes. Surely some of the tax is to collectively help the less fortunate?
It seems that you are paying twice.

You do that because you care.

Has he ever worked ?

The price of everything. The value of nothing.

No class. Just bile.

I accidentally watched a few minutes of the Holyrood gathering of the great and the good today..
What a pompous, entitled bunch of windbags living off our tax. One hundred and twenty nine folk that mostly couldn't run a sweetie shop without consultants to help.
We deserve better.

When you have a solution looking for a problem and enough decision makers with a blank checkbook.

Reminds me of the old days, " Nobody ever got fired for buying IBM... "

Our previous dog was a wreck with fireworks. One bang and he was quaking.
The present incarnation is totally oblivious.
November 6, 2025 at 12:08 PM
Precisely.

The obsessions of club judges. The restrictions placed by arbitrary rules and the bullsh1t justifications used to produce uniformity in camera club output. The pointlessness of being in a 'camera' club when most time is spent on a computer to make digital images to store on a hard drive

Surely not ! Scotland ?!

This information must be suppressed immediately or a squirrel released !

You think ? Or you hope
?

You know, you take so much for granted after so many years in power. So much failure. That its likely people only vote indy in hope rather than expectation.
That's one of my biggest worries. Indy needs solid support to work. Not a bunch of chancers like the Brexit mob.
