When I was a regular on the shelf we’d have great players like Hoddle and Ardiles but the Spurs thing was also to have their ‘support’ players with real skills like Villa, Hazzard or McNabb. Seems that’s what we forgot to recruit

Thing is we don’t get to choose winning by playing the Wrong Way and swallowing our distaste. We fall short playing the Tottenham Way and we fall short playing the Wrong Way. At least let’s have moments to remember
