I'd like to think so however, there's a tendency that such relentless ridicule will be reframed positively as some sort of distinction between 'us and them' - where 'they' are 'brave outsiders' fighting the so called establishment (despite Reform UK Ltd being the epitome of 'the establishment').

How fantastic :-)

The thing is - it's irrelevant what media personalities such as Megyn Kelly 'believe is appropriate' - these things are defined in law i.e. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_...

Bill Shorten did seem pretty decent. I used to find the Aust fed elections friggin' frustrating - there's only so many times that you can shout at politicians on the TV knowing that you can't do anything about the fools too stupid to realise they were being duped. Not that this place is much better.

Ditto for us NZers. I wasn't aware of any ownership links with GB News but my sincerest apologies for Wootton (I really don't know how that happened).

Plus also, Topham Guerin i.e. www.abc.net.au/news/2019-11... who show that such jaundice is free to spread and reproduce across geographic borders.

Jesse, what an embarrassment for a person... Fantastic to hear the crowd demonstrate their 'appreciation' - they're no fools: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pt3Q...

"The music score was decent at the end.

There.

Something positive." ;-) Frustrating when films miss the mark so wildly.
I remember enjoying 'In the Heart of the Sea' (2015) (as another film ~adaptation) however, I'm not sure now if it was just because of the spectacle - it might need a rewatch...

Thanks for the review - I was planning to watch it but might now give it a miss. I've got a bit of soft spot for the story for its critique of the Age of Enlightenment (Victor i.e. overemphasis on 'Enlightenment thinking' as irresponsible father, and his monster as the product of his neglect).

"Robinson has a long history of misleading supporters, portraying himself as a persecuted patriot while using public donations to fund his personal life and legal problems. His so-called fight for 'freedom' is a lucrative business model built on fear and outrage." dorseteye.com/ever-wondere...

Tommy Robinson claimed he was moving cash abroad because he could not open a bank account in the UK. The reality tells a very different story. Court documents show that he filed for bankruptcy in 2021...

For some, it's all about identity (much easier than having to engage with ideas).
